Space Coast Area Transit's Vanpool Program is operated to provide assistance to groups of commuters and various social service agencies. Commuters that live in the same area and work in the same location form vanpools of 7 -15 people in a van provided through this program.

Brevard's Vanpool Program has grown from 6 to 120 vans and is one of the largest public/private sponsored Vanpool Leasing Programs in Florida. Since vanpooling in Brevard County is a form of mass transit, vans, which are purchased by the County Commission with Federal capital grants, are provided to VPSI who administers Space Coast Area Transit's Vanpool Leasing Program. VPSI then provides vans to both commuters and human service agencies. The vans are leased to commuters and social service agencies at a rate that includes all maintenance, insurance and administration. The Vanpool Leasing Program complements Space Coast Area Transit's fixed route and paratransit service.

Vanpooling is extremely attractive to employees at the Kennedy Space Center, since many of them have a significant commute of over 100 miles per day. Various types of vehicles are used to support the various needs of a specific group. Seven passenger "mini-vans", eight passenger "mini commuter" vans, eleven passenger "executive" vans (individual seats), and fifteen passenger split bench "maxi-vans" are offered to commuters. The above vehicles, along with wheelchair lift equipped and raised roof vans, are available to meet an individual groups specific need.

The VPSI Brevard Office "Dedicated to Service" program provides experienced vanpool administration, a proven preventive maintenance program and a comprehensive insurance program to make the Brevard's commuters ride to and from work convenient, reliable, easy, comfortable, safe and economical. VPSI Commuter Bucks Voucher Coupons give an employer an easy way to encourage their employees to vanpool. Find out more! Commuter Bucks
