If you are interested in becoming involved in key transportation issues, your Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) might be a good place to begin. MPO's are established to facilitate the coordination of transportation plans between state transportation agencies and local governments. The role of MPO's has been expanded to include the development of transportation facilities, such as pedestrian walkways, bicycle paths, and transit services. This group meets periodically. If you would like more information, please call the MPO office at (321) 690-6890.
The Local Coordinating Board for Transportation Disadvantaged Service (LCB) provides agency and citizen input regarding the coordinated transportation system in Brevard County. This board meets periodically. If you would like more information, please contact our administrative office at (321) 635-7815.
